Ed Berry, founder of Earthquake Eddie Bee and For The Health Of It.
30 years ago, Ed opened For The Health Of It, a natural food store, massage therapy clinic, and juice & smoothie bar located in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
When Ed and his team were creating various smoothies and nutritional mixes for the juice bar, Ed formulated a superfood mix that provided a burst of energy and was nutritionally sound.
Utilizing bee pollen as a primary ingredient and with the nutritious boost the formula provided, the name coined by his childhood friend Charles Cummings was a perfect fit.
The product has been used ever since and has been enjoyed by numerous customers, staff, friends, and family members. It has also consistently been the number one selling smoothie on the menu.
